Survivors have been talked about long enough. It is time to hear from them.
We Will Not Be Silent is collecting real survivor stories for possible publication in books, on this website, and in advocacy content across video, audio, social media, podcasts, blogs, and related formats.
Your story does not need to fit a template. It can be one page or twenty. You can write it here or upload a document. What matters is that it is yours.
Send the full story. You do not need to make it short. Selected stories may also be edited into a roughly one-to-three-minute read-aloud excerpt for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, while the full submission can still be considered for longer publication.
This is a human-led project. Michael Haukoos makes every decision about editing and publication. Nothing is automatically published or rejected.
Submitting a story does not guarantee publication. You decide whether we send no email, one confirmation only, or contact you only about this submission.
