This process covers published content or site activity involving safety, privacy, mistaken identity, copyright, confidential material, impersonation, nonconsensual intimate imagery, exploitation, or other unlawful content. It is not an emergency service.
How to report
Email stories@wewillnotbesilent.org with the subject RIGHTS AND SAFETY REPORT. Include the exact page or item, a clear description of the concern, the action requested, how you are connected to the affected person or rights, and a safe way to reply. State that the report is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
Do not email illegal files, intimate images, evidence originals, medical records, government identification, or other sensitive attachments. Describe the material and where it appears. Preserve originals safely and use an appropriate official reporting channel when required.
Urgent safety or intimate-image reports
Use the subject URGENT SAFETY or URGENT INTIMATE IMAGE and identify the exact location. Reports involving an immediate threat, child exploitation, trafficking, or nonconsensual intimate visual material may be preserved, restricted, removed, or reported as required for safety and law. Qualifying removal requests will be handled within any deadline required by applicable law.
If anyone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. In the United States, suspected child sexual exploitation can also be reported directly to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children CyberTipline.
Copyright concerns
Identify the copyrighted work, the exact material and location at issue, your contact information, your authority to act, and why the use is not authorized by the owner, an agent, or law. Include a good-faith statement, an accuracy statement, and your physical or electronic signature. Knowingly material misrepresentations can create legal consequences.
What happens next
The report will be assessed, relevant material may be temporarily restricted, and additional information may be requested. The project may preserve records needed for safety, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or legal claims. A report does not guarantee a particular outcome, and information may be shared with counsel, service providers, affected parties, or authorities when reasonably necessary.
